Bessie Pease Gutmann is still beloved by many for her precious artwork of children and illustrations for childrens books. Her career spanned almost 50 years with over 600 art prints credited to her by the time she retired in 1947. Gutmann's most popular years were during the decades of the 1920s and 1930s.
