Winter is one of my favorite seasons for photographing. The bright snow and monochromatic tones make for very interesting images. However, many people are disappointed when their winter photos have a blue tinge or are underexposed (the snow is grey). The brightness of the snow can play havoc with your camera's meter, causing it to underexpose.
