Life, The Universe And Everything
While I can remember a time when I didn't like Douglas Adams' writings -- that time was before I read one word of his writings.  Douglas Adams has held me enthralled from the first chapter and I have read (and, indeed own) everything by him that I can.  He is one of those author's that I read at least once a year.  His style is, shall we say, perhaps a bit off.  But, that is the fun and the wonder and the beauty of his delightful mind and his glorious wit.   If you're already familiar with Do...

The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy
The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy was originally a radio series, which was then converted into a book in 1979. It is the first of five books. Douglas Adams blends humor and science fiction into a book that you will not want to put down. This book is great for any age group!

The Hitch-Hikers Guide To The Galaxy
The Hitch-Hikers Guide To The Galaxy
My Review
When Arthur Dent wakes up on Thursday morning and goes to the bathroom to shave the biggest thing on his mind is "Yellow". What he doesn't realise is that there's something more threatening than the bulldozer about to demolish his house to make way for a bypass. God, I love this book. It is witty and clever and funny. The characters and concepts are great. There are dozens of quotable quotes. Douglas Adams writing is concise. He has the reader laughing out loud on almost every page.
