James Herriot
Author and friend to animals!
James Herriot OBE is the pen name of James Alfred Wight, also known as Alf Wight (3 October 1916 23 February 1995), a British veterinary surgeon and writer. Wight is best known for his semi-autobiographical stories, often referred to collectively as All Creatures Great and Small, a title used in some editions and in film and television adaptations. My Mum and I have always enjoyed his books, especially James Herriot's Favourite Dog Stories!

The Lord God Made Them All
And Now The Last One
This is the last book in the series about a country vet in the English countryside. This book picks up after James has been released from his service in the RAF. You have to remember that Dr. Herriot practiced for more than 50 years. There's new farmers, and of course, all the characters you've grown to love in the other books. I don't think anyone who has read the other books can leave this one alone either.

All Things Bright And Beautiful
The Continuing Adventures Of A Country Vet
This lens is about the second book that James Herriot wrote about his adventures as a country vet back in the thirties. Like the first book, it's full of lovable characters. You also see a little bit more personality from some of the farmers and regular patients to the clinic. There's also more stories about Sigfried and Tristan. Tristan still getting into trouble, and Sigfried being Sigfried. Would you think there would be enough stories to fill up another book? If you've read the first one...

All Things Wise And Wonderful
My Review
The third book in the great series that was started with "All Creatures Great And Small." The continuing adventures of everybody's favorite country vet, James Herriot, and his partners, Sigfried and Tristan. There's still a lot of humor, and a lot of interesting characters. I can only imagine what it would have been like to work as a Vet in those times.
