Stephen King
The Master of Horror
Stephen King has been named by many as the Master of Horror. His dark mind has created many a world that has brought our darkest fears into reality, so to speak. I dare to say that his books have probably contributed to many, many nightmares as well. A Stephen King novel grabs you and doesn't let go until the terrifying finish. His books will take you to places that you have only dreamed about in your worst nightmares. If you have not yet experienced the grip of a Stephen King novel, you don...
My Review
Stephen King has done it again. His character Edgar Freemantle is thrown off balance by an accident where he loses his arm. His life falls to pieces and he finally moves to Duma Key. Here in Florida, Duma Key is where out-of-season hurricanes tear lives apart and a powerful undertow lures lost and tormented souls. Freemantle is inspired to paint the amazing sunsets and soon starts to investigate the history and secrets of the house he lives in. This great book will finally also be available a...

Pet Sematary Review
If you knew of a way to resurrect a beloved pet that died, what would you do? What would you do if your child died? Pet Sematary is about a mystical burial ground that children use to bring their dead pets back to life. Through generations the legend of the Micmac burial grounds has been passed down. The children in a small Maine town tend to the cemetery that's near the Micmac burial grounds. When Louis Creed and his family move to Ludlow, Maine they are introduced to the Pet Sematary, and ...
A 'Misery' Review
Misery is gripping, horrific and, in some places, totally gruesome. If you're a writer/author, keep away from anyone who says they are your No.1 Fan. If you have broken bones, you may want to skip over some parts, 'eek'. But, if you are a true horror fan, this novel will have you turning each page with a sick sense of pleasure. Be careful what you wish for....
Not one of the better known Stephen King books, writing as he was under his Richard Bachman guise, but its one I really enjoyed. There is a wicked undercurrent throughout the whole book. The main character, Billy Halleck,is technically the hero of the book, but after reading it it becomes less clear, and he may even be the villain. In a nutshell, the plot revolves around Halleck, a large, obese man, being cursed by an old gypsy, after killing the gypsy's wife while driving his car.He gets off ...
Stephen King's Dreamcatcher Book Review
I read Dreamcatcher in 2003, months before the movie came out. I've been reading Stephen King's books since I was in High School. I guess I just love the scary stuff. When I first read Dreamcatcher, I thought that it was a little different from what I was used to from Mr. King, but I love it regardless. Dreamcatcher is about four long time friends out in the woods in Maine, in their traditional annual hunting trip. Jonesy, Peter, Henry and Beaver shared a special gift or power inhered...
The Stand by Stephen King
This is the best book ever! I have read it at least 3 times since I picked it up for the first time. As I read it I could imagine it in my head as if I was watching a movie. Stephen King's The Stand (Summary) Stephen King's The Stand is a thrilling novel that portrays the forces of good against evil. In the year 1991, a plague strikes America, leaving only a few thousand people alive who are "immune" to the epidemic. Of the survivors, those who serve G-d instinctively join in Boulder, Color...
Another Stephen King Story
This book is about a married couple that decides to add a little zest to their love life. The husband, Gerald of the title, decides he wants to try a little bondage action. He then goes to start the action, when, oops, he has a heart attack and dies. His wife is stuck in the bed, tied up. The book is basically about all the things his wife thinks abo...
