2011 started out to be a great year for reading. I received a Kindle for Christmas and that opened a whole new realm of reading for me. I still read books in the paper format but having a Kindle makes it easy for me to always have a book available, and I find myself reading more then ever before. It is now the 1st of August so this lens will highlight the top ten books that I enjoyed during the first months of 2011.

A book can be an ideal Christmas or birthday gift for almost anybody. Of course, it has to be the right book for the person receiving it. This is an opportunity to show you care enough to take trouble to find a book they will be delighted to receive. It could be fiction or non-fiction, a serious novel or a thriller, a reference book or a biography. Whatever it is, it should be something the recipient will find interesting or entertaining.
