The Earth Begins to Awaken Once Again
Imbolc, also spelled Imbolg or Oimelc, and pronounced 'im'olk' comes at the beginning of February and is the second Sabbat in the Wheel of the Year. The Sun's powers are growing stronger and the Earth begins to wake once again. The Goddess, as Maiden, prepares to return once more from the Underworld to walk upon the Earth.
