Originally, I had a lens that was just going to focus on the bigger scientific awards. With the exceptions of a handful of biggies that I have listed below, there is no definitive list of major scientific awards.  I didnt realize what a massive project I had set out for myself.   Once the first lens got humongous, it occurred to me that it made more sense to create a different lens for each sub-section of science.  This is one of those lenses.

Despite being one of the least conspiccuous constellation in the sky. Cancer is the best known. This is the constellation where the Sun reaches it highest point north of the equator, Called the summer soltice. This northern most latitude is also called the Tropic of Cancer.
