The nominations are out! Here's the top categories nominated for the annual Screen Actors Guild awards for 2012. The winners will be announced on the televised award show which airs January 29, 2012 on TNT/TBS. The SAG awards have often been considered a precursor to the Oscars. Last year, 17 of the 20 SAG award nominees went on to take home a coveted gold statue.

Most people know of Josh Peck from his role as Josh on the hit Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh in which he plays the geek/nerd/dork brother to Drake Bell's sauve/cool/chick magnet brother. But if you enjoyed watching Josh evolve during the 50 episode run of that show, you haven't seen anything yet. This young comedian has developed from stand-up comic (at nine!) to slapstick comedy on TV to serious movie actor.
