My thoughts on these terrific people of Mayberry, facts, and a little trivia!

This lens is a tribute to the actors and the characters they portrayed. How many of us would love to live in that town of Mayberry? Who was that woman that played the deep voiced convict and fun girl? Did Andy and Helen have a baby? Why did Floyd sit in the later episodes? Who whistled the tune? Read this ...

Andy Griffith, of Course
Andy Griffith's started his career as a monologist, the mid-century version of a Stand-Up Comedian. But his jokes were no short 0ne-liners; they were long stories. With his country boy accent and back-woods vocabulary, Griffith's character was the funniest part of the story. His best loved stories are "What it Was, Was Football" and "Romeo and Juliet," both of which can be viewed in the YouTube videos. If you've not heard them before, you're in for a treat.
