The F/V Rollo
The Rollo is a 107 foot crab boat built in 1976 with a crew complement of six. During the crab season you'll find the Rollo based out of Dutch Harbor, Alaska. In January or February you'll catch her on the Bering Sea near the Pribilof Islands fishing for Opilio. In the summers she is a salmon tender in Bristol Bay or SE Alaska.  Described as: "the most ass-kicking crab fishing boat in Alaska!" (by her crew). Rollo personal quote: "Kitty is my hero." We love it when Deadliest Catch Season is on! Plenty of danger, drama, humor, anger and fun. About men in boats, fishing in the coldest water and weather that will kill a man in minutes. They brave the storms, ice and the waves to catch the gold of the Bering Sea, Alaskan King Crab. They are always in a race against time and storms.
