Eurovision 2009: In 2008, Russia won the Eurovision Song Contest with singer Dima Bilan, who performed the song Believe. His victory brought the 54th Contest to Moscow, where a modified voting format premiered with the re-introduction of national juries, together with televoting from countries around Europe.
