The Next Three Days Movie Review
A Movie Review - The Next Three Days
What would you do if you only have The Next Three Days to save everything you live for? I saw The Next Three Days last weekend and I honestly feel this movie is a good, decent thriller. Like how a thriller movie is supposed to be. If there's a categorization for thriller movies, this movie will be in the 'family' thriller category. The Next Three Days is a thriller movie that is full of unsuspected twists and turns. It glued me to my seat from beginning to end. No aliens, ghosts, or psychop...

Movie Review - The Song of Sparrows
Movie Review - The Song of Sparrows
Movie Review
The director has given several messages throughout this film, on contemporary life. The movie was shot in a village and in Tehran. Both the village life and the big city life is quite like in India. So easy to identify with. I wish we show this movie to the teenage children. and give them an exercise to identify the lessons/messages conveyed on the movie. I mean individually at our house.

You must have experienced moments that make you think someone's watching over us. Well, the men in hats from The Adjustment Bureau do more than just watching over. They do some little 'adjustments' to make sure your life's on track. A spill of coffee, forgotten something, a simple phone call..... there are no coincidences. To Kill A Mockingbird Movie Review
To Kill A Mockingbird Movie Review
My Favorite Gregory Peck Movie
I was recently challenged to write a To Kill A Mockingbird movie review by a gal who admits that she has never seen this classic Gregory Peck movie. This will be a labor of love as not only is it my favorite movie starring the handsome Mr. Peck, but one of my all time favorite films. It is difficult for me to fathom that there are people who haven't seen this classic drama released by Universal Studios in 1962. Alas, there must be a few like Treasures By Brenda who are probably enough younge...

Food, Inc - Take Control Over Your Food
From Farm to Fork...know about the food you are eating!
A girls night out for a movie - Food, Inc and dinner changed my outlook on food forever! In fact when I got home that night sleep did not come easy. Instead of counting sheep I was mentally going through my kitchen pantry - not a horrible assessment, although I knew there were going to be a few things on the chopping block when I got up in the morning! And my husband did not even miss em'! :) The three most significant things that I took away from watching Food, Inc. are: ~ Cases of Diabete...

A Movie Review - Limitless
What can you do if you have a four-digit IQ? Limitless (well, somewhat, you still can't fly). Based on a novel by Alan Glynn, Limitless is about what it's like and what you can do if you can access and use more parts of your brain. What can you achieve and what are the consequences. If you can take medication that will unlock your potential and reach far beyond your imagination, what would you do? Is it worth the risk? Then, what would happen when the drugs run out?
