"Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen is about love and class in the Regency Period (early 1800s in England.) I was introduced to Pride & Prejudice and Jane Austen by the A&E version of Pride & Prejudice on DVD. After watching that, I was motivated to read the book and became a Pride & Prejudice fan, as well as a Jane Austen fan.

I believe that there is one that moves everyone more than the other, which to me is the 2005 Matthew MacFadyen masterpiece and yet there are so many that swear by Colin Firth in the A and E 1996 version.
