Along with his faithful (and brainy) dog Gromit, Wallace has starred in 4 short films and one feature length movie. Three of the short stop motion films ("A Grand Day Out", "A Close Shave", and "The Wrong Trousers") have won Academy Awards for Best Animated Short. The short "A Matter of Loaf and Death" and the feature film "The Curse of the Wererabbit" were also nominated for Best Animated Short and Best Animated Feature Film but did not win.
