Children enjoyed the action, complete with comic book balloons (BAM! POW! ZAP!). For adults, it was campy comedy. Batman was one of the most successful TV series of the 1960's and one of the most...

Collecting the Autographs of the Rat Pack
The Rat Pack
Before Elvis, the epitome of cool was the Rat Pack. Most pop culture historians credit Lauren Bacall as the person who coined the phrase "Rat Pack." Her husband at the time, Humphrey Bogart, was the leader. Bogart died in 1957, at the age of 57. The Hollywood publicity machine anointed Sinatra (1915-1998) as new main man of the Rat Pack. The other new members were Dean Martin (1917-1996), Sammy Davis, Jr, (1925-1990), Peter Lawford (1923-1984) and Joey Bishop (1918-1999).

The Wizard of Oz Autographs
The Wizard of Oz: One of America's Most Beloved Films
"The Wizard of Oz" opened in theatres in 1939. Though it received mostly favorable reviews, box office receipts were disappointing.
