This vintage apron lens is dedicated to my grandmother... Josephine, fondly referred to as Nanny. I don't think that I ever saw her without an apron. In fact I don't think that I ever saw her in anything but a house dress and an apron. I guess women in that time (1920s and the 1930s) ever wore anything else and this trend carried on until well into the seventies when we lost her. So, with all of the great vintage patterns that are now available, I might just take up sewing!!
