We become directly affected by the quality of what we eat. Good, healthy food is no sacrifice when you know how to cook healthily! Here I am cooking meat in a way not to destroy all the vitamins and of course, to give the taste-buds a really good treat! My personal option is vegetarian, but when I have to cook meat, my motto is do it well, natural and healthy, or not at all! After all, we eat to live, not live to eat, right?

We have a Korean grocery store near us that often has unfamiliar fruits and veggies. My husband brought me home a few prickly pears to try, just for fun, one day. I wasn't sure what to do with them so they ended up sitting on the counter for about a week. I finally got my lazy self to do something with them because they had gotten soft. I decided I would make it into a drink! It was a delicious drink! A colorful drink! A prickly pear drink!
