Why Sandwich Recipes?
In theory, a perfectly balanced meal includes some protein, but not too much; a vegetable or two; some fruit and a carbohydrate. Such a meal also should balance tastes - savory, a little sour or bitter maybe, perhaps some sweet and salt - and textures, from chewy to succulent to crisp. Let's go a step further and propose that this meal also can conveniently be eaten while playing cards. These are some of the Sandwich Recipes out there. Heinz Tomato Ketchup or HP Brown Sauce - Which Is Best ?
choosing the best sauce to put on a bacon sandwich is not a matter of life and death...it's more imp
Tomato sauce or brown sauce which is best? I believe that use of brown sauce only should be made a law and anyone using red sauce on their bacon sandwiches should be incarcerated and have the key thrown away. As we got older we started inventing fillings for the pie iron pies and adding new ones. These make a quick (about 20 minute) sandwich or dessert pretty easily. We had a gas stove when we first made ...

The Best English Sandwich Recipes
Sandwiches are Decidedly English
The first recorded sandwich in history was eaten by John Montagu the 4th Earl of Sandwich in 1762. He was a prolific gambler and wanted a way to eat with one-hand so that he would not have to stop playing to eat. So, he asked the cooks at the gambling establishments he frequented to fix him a meal of meat between slices of bread. Others he played cards with followed suit and would order 'the same as Sandwich!' Thus, the sandwich was born - starting life as a snack for wealthy gambling men an...
