A photograph freezes one moment in time and connects the present with the past. So does an autograph.

Autographs on Ebay - A Buyer's Market!
eBay: It Doesn't Have To Be Risky
I've been collecting autographs for 14 years and eBay is by far by most productive source that I've found for quality autographs. Though it is true that eBay is riddled with fakes and forgeries, with a little caution, buying on eBay will add more authentic autographs to your collection at a fraction of the price than most anywhere else.

Collecting Bonanza Autographs
Bonanza: America's Favorite Western
Bonanza premiered on NBC on September 12, 1959. The ratings during the first season were mediocre, but RCA, the parent company of NBC, kept it on the air because it was one of the first TV shows to be filmed in color. The show was filmed on location at some of the most scenic locations in the American West. Many people bought their first color televisions to watch Bonanza.

Collecting the Autographs and Work of Cartoonists
America's Cartoonists
The autographs and drawings of cartoonists are nice additions to an autograph collection. All of us can relate to cartoons. Saturday mornings in front of the TV are fond memories for most baby boomers. Many of us turn to the comic strips before we read the front page of our newspaper. Many of our cultural icons are cartoon characters. Mickey Mouse and Bart Simpson. Superman, Batman and Spiderman. The donkey and elephant of the Democrats and Republicans. Even the modern image of Santa Claus wa...

Collecting Celebrity Signed Checks
The End Is Near for the Bank Check
It looks like the end is near for the bank check. It probably will not be long before checks will seem old, which means that many people, who once took them for granted and tossed them in the trash, will take a second look at them. Because of the coming demise of the bank check, and the fact that the supply of checks signed by any celebrity is finite, I expect the value of select celebrity checks to explode in the not to distant future.

Collecting Signed Books By NASA Pioneers
Collecting Signed NASA Books
Often, those who want to begin collecting autographs look for something that they not only will enjoy collecting, but something that will appreciate in value. Most aren't looking to get rich with autographs - they just want something that they will stand the test of time and have value for future generations. Many plan on leaving their collections to their children. My suggestion for these people is to consider signed books by NASA pioneers, especially those who went to the moon.
