Chanukah (Hanukah, Hanukkah) 2011 is fast approaching. Time to get out the decorations, counting the candles (44 is the number you need for the full 8 days). Maybe get a head start frying up some latkes. Not that I make latkes. I the non-cook in our family. I just invite my sisters over and they bring the food. Chanukah decorations may not be as plentiful as Christmas decorations (in fact, they can be downright invisible in brick-and-morter stores) but we Jews just have to try harder - maybe that's why we're the "chosen people".
