Living in a cold and snowy climate means long, harsh winters. Power outages are common and being housebound is not unusual. Safely surviving a power outage takes a good generator and a lot of practice. Keeping moods elevated waiting for power to be restored takes a little creativity. Tea light candles to the rescue.
