While in general, I try to keep myself a fairly positive person, there are definitely times it can be difficult. It can get really frustrating seeing people treat each other the way that they do, and it tends to take me to a really dark place. By and large, that's the inspiration behind much of the writing behind AFI's (A Fire Inside) work - being sick to death of humanity. Not that individual people are bad, but the way that they treat each other and don't care for each other is despicable....

A Fire Inside (AFI) is a band made up of hardcore punk revivalists that first came together in 1991 when high school friends: Davey   Havok (vocalist), Markus Stopholese (guitarist), Vick (bassist), and Adam Carson (drums), got together in Ukiah.  Vick was replaced by Geoff Kresge then the band released their split 7 that was called Dork with another local band called Loose Change, after they played some local gigs.  Ironically, Loose Changes member, Jade Puget, later became a member of AFI. ...
