In my opinion, one of the best ever tribute concerts was the Concert for George. In 2002, Rock music's most celebrated musicians gathered to pay tribute to one of their own, the legendary George Harrison. On that magical night, George's closest friends teamed up at the Royal Albert Hall to perform a collection of Harrison's music for an enthusiastic London audience. While everyone else was crazy about John Lennon or Paul McCartney, I was completely enthralled with George Harrison. Now, I was about 7 years old when The Beatles invaded America so I don't remember much about all that. I remember George Harrison from the older Beatles and from when he was on his own. So like they say about Elvis, Young Elvis or Older Elvis? Well, I liked the George Harrison that came into his own. I loved his music, his spirit and his spirituality.
