Karen Carpenter had the most wonderful voice. It's a shame it was lost so early. She, and her brother Richard, formed The Carpenters. She did lead vocals and drums. As well as an accomplished singer, she was also recognized as a leading drummer. Karen suffered from anorexia nervosa, and died from complications from the disease.
