In fact, she requests reading it so much that I started brainstorming different ways to tell the rhyme to keep things interesting. Sometimes all it takes to have some fun is looking around the house for everyday items that can be turned into educational play toys. In this lens I'll share some puppet ideas, magnet ideas, retelling, sequencing and other interesting ways to keep telling this classic children's song.

I first learned about pattern blocks when I was a 1st grade teacher. We used them in conjunction with our math curriculum. But pattern blocks aren't only for the school setting.
