Genius in Sandals...
and you can go and sit in his lap. In fact, that is just what I did! It is a perfect representation of this modest, unassuming genius. This lens is dedicated to Albert Einstein the person; I leave Einstein the scientific genius to those more qualified. Since the statue makes me want to curl up at his knees and just listen to what he has to say about things, I decided to do just that, listen.

Albert Einstein was an exceptional person and scientist. In 1999 Einstein was named Time magazine's "Person of the Century", and a poll of prominent physicists named him the greatest physicist of all time. Einstein won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1921 for his theory of relativity. The formula: 'E = m c^2'

Albert Einstein was one of the greatest thinkers of the 20th century. He is best known for his theory of relativity, which earned him the Nobel Prize in Physics. His warning to FDR about the potential for Germany to create an atomic weapon led to the creation of the U.S. Manhattan Project, but he preferred physics to politics, turning down the offer to become the second president of Israel.

Albert Einstein (1879-1955) was a German scientist, whose theories completely changed our thinking about the universe and led to the development of atomic energy. In 1902-10 he published his ideas on the Theory of Relativity. He was appointed director of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute in Berlin. With Hitler's rise to power, Einstein, a Jew, was forced to leave Germany. He took up a position at the Institute of Advanced Studies at Princeton University, in the United States.
