Watching Whales in Australia
Winter is Whale Watching Season in Australia
I just love watching whales! We have 45 species of whales, dolphins and porpoises in Australia, all of them beautiful enough to give you goosebumps, but surely the whale is the most magnificent. From June to October we can see the whales migrating from their summer feeding grounds in the Antarctic to the warmer waters off the Australian coast. Their path is the same each year and I pack up for a couple of weeks to watch these majestic creatures. tmage :wikipedia

Festival of Whales
I Want to Visit the Festival of Whales
I love festivals and fairs. I wanted to do a tribute lens to one of my favorites. So I did what I always do when I start to create a new lens; I looked for all my pictures, my souvenirs; searched my memory banks of festivals I have attended; surfed the Google for information that I may have forgotten. It was then that I decided to do a tribute to a festival that I have only heard about, not attended but have wanted to for some time. This is a tribute to that festival -- The Festival of Whales...
