Cameron Newton was born on May 11, 1989 and was the starting quarterback for the 2010 Auburn Tigers football team. Newton lead Auburn to its second National Championship in school history and its first in 53 years. In addition to winning the National Championship, Newton was also awarded the 2010 Heisman Trophy. This trophy is presented to the best college football player in the country each year. Newton will be entering the 2011 NFL Draft and is expected to be a first round pick.
