Squidoo has a user system of rating lenses according to their quality. Only registered Squidoo users can vote on other members lenses. Okay... Squidoo USED to have a user rating system that involved 1 to 5 stars. Then along came Facebook and it's Likes so they implemented that, added a "Squid" Like button, and did away with the stars (I assume they counted any and all star votes as Likes (regardless of how many or how few?) Squidoo has three ratings for lenses, which allows users to freely write about adult topics, but also prevents young eyes from stuff they shouldn't be reading. The ratings don't just mark lenses G, R, or X, they also allow users to work interactively with each lens based on their viewing preferences.
