It's hard to believe that as of April 17, 2011 it has been 2 years since the RocketMoms group was founded by Bonnie Diczhazy. It was formed as a way to support the work at home moms that were quickly becoming the movers and shakers on Squidoo. RocketMoms was the flagship group, the first formal group formed and sanctioned by Squidoo. It was a test group. This means that you can create a lens about a hobby, your job, your kids, a favorite book or movie or a recipe that you are famous for. We want to learn something about YOU! I am so thrilled to introduce the fourth graduating class of "RocketMoms". RocketMoms is a niche group of Squidoo lensmasters working together to make lenses and lots more. They are moms, grandmas, step-mothers, moms of multiples and every type of mom you can imagine. Each RocketMom eagerly accepted the challenge to create 6 lenses over a 6 week period for a special Holiday "Shopping with the RocketMoms" Session. A total of 62 RocketMoms completed that challenge and created over 700 lenses. ...

This week the RocketMoms are staring up their Fall Session with an "About Me" lens. They'll be sharing something they love to do, or create or read. If there is anyone on Rocket Moms who exemplifies a true Rocket Mom besides our wonderful leader, Bonnie Diczhazy, it is Holley Adams! I met Holley in the first few days of Rocket Moms' existance when we got the assignment to write a lens "About Me" to introduce ourselves to the group. I have no idea what possessed me to pour out my heart on that lens and when I saw all the lighthearted ones that were submitted I felt somewhat ridiculous. What was I thinking? For the next month the RocketMoms are cleaning up their lenses. They are adding unique original content, organizing modules and spiffing up their photos. This exercise is designed to take their lenses from good to great., to really raise the bar on quality by using the 3 U's...Unique, Useful, Updated.
