Other Lensmasters might agree that receiving an Angel "thumbs up" is like receiving gold (or fairy dust), especially when working alone at home. It's not just about blessings. Generous souls have offered suggestions or answered questions and these kindnesses are appreciated as much as the blessing itself. How exciting it was to receive the message . . . "Welcome to the SquidAngel program." In short, for about 30 days or so, I get to give a little boost (called a SquidAngel blessing) to noteworthy lenses here on Squidoo. My SquidAngel wings may be temporary . . . but my desire to seek out clever, curious and thoughtfully-crafted lenses is a constant. So I decided to start keeping track of my discoveries. For my 2nd stint as a SquidAngel, I decided to do a showcase lens to show off all the wonderful lenses I've found to bless this month. My criteria for blessing is pretty simple I think. If the lens doesn't have the default titles on the modules, if it's not just a collection of sales links, if it teaches me something I didn't know, if it looks good, and if I can tell you spent time on it as opposed to just slapping it up there. You will get a blessing! I like a lot of different kinds of thing...
