In Ethiopia with a Mule
In Ethiopia with a Mule
What a trip!
This is one of the most exciting books I have read! Dervla Murphy actually walked all the way from Asmara to Addis Ababa on her own, only accompanied by a pack-mule. About twenty-five years later I did the same trip - by bus. I wish I had read her book before travelling, it would have enhanced my experience. Not many things have changed in the Ethiopian country-side, even until today! This book is still up-to-date. Get this picture of the Simien mountains at AllPosters.com
