Land of Oz
I may live in the UK, but I'm a Kansas girl by birth. Born and reared there. So when we went back to Kansas on holiday in 2004 I wanted to look for some of the sights off the beaten track. What we found was a land of wonder and weirdness. Great natural beauty and awe-inspiring eccentricity. So my advice to you - if you ever find yourself driving across Kansas, get off the Interstate! There is a lot to see out there.

If you take Exit # 76 on I-70 in Kansas and head south, you will find a charming museum in Oakley. Oakley is a small town, so you should have no trouble finding the Fick Fossil and History Museum.
