Palenque Pyramids in Mexico
Palenque Ruins in The Jungles of Mexico
Palenque is my favourite of all of the Mexican archeological sites: less touristy than Chichen Itza or Teotihuacan Pyramids, near Mexico City and in a wonderful jungle setting just north of Guatemala. Monkeys wooping in the distance and the beautiful sights and sounds of the jungle make this an excellent place to visit while in Mexico.
