The Blue Ridge Parkway runs through the North Carolina mountains and covers 469 miles of some of the most beautiful landscape in the United States. And I'm lucky enough to live within one mile of it. With all the fun activities in NC, I'm amazed that my husband and I managed to spend last summer inside watching tv. I mean, we started out the summer being active, but it didn't take us long to slow down and park our butts in the nearest chair! I'm determined to make this year be different.
