Our favorite summertime words were "Let's go to the lake!" I miss those days when going to the lake was synonymous with summer. It didn't matter which lake we went too. Living in British Columbia we have many so it is just a matter of how much time we had. For a quick dip after a hot day at work or for a two week vacation or maybe a long weekend camping trip.
